Robin Rizzini

Robin Rizzini is an Italian-British industrial designer specializing in furniture design. Born in Genoa in 1973, he moved to Milan in 1993 and graduated in 1995 from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, where he currently teaches in the Master’s program in Industrial Design. In 2000 he began an important collaboration with Antonio Citterio, which led him to work on projects for some of the leading design brands. In 2006, he opened his own design studio and, a few years later in 2009, he co-founded Metrica in Milan, an internationally recognized studio known for its innovative approach to design and project management in furniture and product design. He remained involved in this venture until 2018, when he chose to work independently, focusing exclusively on his own design practice. Rizzini is active in the field of interior design, with projects ranging from residential environments to office contract work. His approach combines a technical-industrial language with an artistic and decorative sensibility, resulting in designs that are essential, versatile, functional, and expressive.
